Africa – 2017 – Zimbabwe – Hawange National Park

Oct. 6, 2018 – We have seen most every animal except the leopard at this point.

We saw one-hundred and thirty two elephants coming to a watering hole.

We sat in our land rover within ten feet of Charles the Lion’s nephew surveying his domain.

We are invisible to the animals as long as we stay seated, so we are told. I hope it’s true.

So far, so good.

We have reached a real hotel in Livingston today with air conditioning and electrical outlets. We are now learning to appreciate the little comforts that we take for granted so much at home.

Don’t miss my stories and photos of our most recent trip to Jordan and Egypt on Facebook and Instagram at R.C. Hand.

“Sunrise, Sunset” my book of ten short stories will be up on Audible by the end of Jan.2003.

There are now several videos of my guest appearances on some podcasts from around the world on Facebook at R.C. Hand and on this website.

Come and have some fun.
