April 23 – Day 6 – Antwerp – We walked the city today and learned of it’s history. We saw Old Town and the historic Town Hall and ancient Steen Castle.

Why is it called Antwerp? I’ll never tell. What about the ogre and the toll?

The old city was a trading center since the 11th century. It was and is still one of the diamond trading and cutting centers of the world.

There are many chocolate stores here for those who find that more interesting and tasteful.
