April 19, 2019 – Today is the day.

We are leaving LAX at 6:35 for the Stans. We will be home just in time for Mother’s Day.

You might want to pay attention to the news from the area for the next three weeks or so. Every time we go somewhere, something always seems to come up. Earthquakes or coups are always a possibility. We always seem to be at the right place at the right time.

It does make for an adventure, but we just want to learn about the places and the people where we are traveling to and not get involved in the local politics or anything else. I have no desire to be dug out of the rubble of a hotel or to have to dig someone else out.

I am hoping for good weather and clear minds at our arrival sites.

I will put up a blog when I return.
