Today we are at sea again. We have stayed in and had a light breakfast in our room.
The seas are still rolling strongly as we head to our next destination.
I have had a chance to watch a few programs on the television in our room. The Smithsonian and National Geographic are available. One program was about Vincent Van Gogh and the other was about the Mona Lisa and Leonardo De Vinci. One was about lost art master pieces. What could be more interesting? They were informative and entertaining.
When people complain about television and say that they don’t watch it, I have to laugh. Who picks the shows that they watch in their home.
Television can bring all of the knowledge and wisdom of the world into your life. It can also bring in violence and filth. The world is a violent and filthy place for many in the world. That’s just the way that it is.
Television gives you almost limitless choices. You can learn about most anything if you have a mind to. It’s ultimately your choice. The viewer, not the television is to blame.
Take responsibility for your own actions. Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot that our celebrities and our politicians have shown us that we don’t have to do that anymore. Never mind.
