Fri. Oct. 6 – We have arrived in Nairobi.

Our plane was late taking off as the vehicle used to push it away from the old fashioned stirs was not working.

We had to wait about half an hour on the runway before we got under way. The air conditioning wasn’t working so that wasd an uncomfortable tim for all aboard.

Our two fellow travelers who were left behind have joined us very early this morning. They will be going to bed as we leave on our first outing.

We have now met the two new female members of our group who will travel with us for the rest of this adventure.

We went to the Nairobi National Museum to see the many artifacts that are held there. It was an interesting stop. The museum was filled with hundreds of children out on an outing from school. They were everywhere and seemed to be enjoying themselves.

My wife took many pictures of them with her.

Tonight we go to dinner at a restaurant that serves exotic meats. That should be interesting.

There are seven women and two men on this trip. The usual situation for some odd reason.

By the way, the ticket prices on Expedia were half of those offered to us by our tour company. Do check before buying your airline tickets.
