We have visited my wife’s family for a few days in London and are now in Harwich. We are off on the Royale Caribbean cruise ship, the Jewel of the Sea for twelve nights.

It has been a fine day here in England and it is now 5:00 p.m. and time to leave. By the way, the pound was $2.0635 at this time.

We have been to England together many times now over our thirty six years together. Our first trip was our belated honeymoon, a year after our marriage. It was time for the English part of the family to meet and appraise me if they haden’t already.

We took a bus tour through Europe for our honeymoon trip. I will find the paper work on that trip and relate the interesting parts of it to you at a latter date.

We love cruising with it’s comfort and ease of travel.

By the way, we are off to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan next year, 2019. I don’t think the traveling will be that easy there. It took me awhile to type those names, believe you me.

We are off to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in October of this year, 2018. We have talked about going forever, but it is a trip that needs ample time to see everything that is most interesting and important to us.
