Oct.2, 2019 – My diet on board ship

I behaved myself very well on this cruise when it came to eating, that is.

I refused those lovely desserts that I was offered and opted for the fruit instead, for the most part. The pineapple was very good by the way.

I lost a few pounds, but not as much as I had hoped for. I didn’t use the gym. Perhaps that was where I went wrong. But come on, I was on vacation.

This weight control only gets harder as we age. As a man I am fortunate in many ways. Women have much more difficulty losing weight and I recognize that and sympathize with you ladies out there.

I am 5′ 10″ and weigh around 215 ponds. I look better than that sounds, by the way. I am still very active and have a fair amount of muscle mass. I should weigh about 185 I think. That was my weight most of my adult life. I will continue to look for the answer to this issue and if I find it I will pass it on.

I am trying to keep up the routine of eating less and working out more, but it is difficult, as I am spineless.
