On this day in 2009 we were in Brazil.

We stayed in fine old hotel right off of the beach. It was a wonderful place.

We were in time to watch the celebrations of thousands of people walking on and enjoying the beach for “Carnival” with music and drinks of all types.

We also went to the Sombrero Dome to watch all of the dancing and the beautiful floats. We spent the entire night and into the early morning watching and listening to the performers.

There were people there from all over the world there to enjoy the show.
