March 2, 2010 – England

Yesterday was the fourth anniversary of our last trip to England.

My wife has three generations of family there. We come as often as possible to visit family and friends. We lost our latest trip due to covid-19 and the travel shut downs.

I have some background in architecture and love the buildings in the country. From the grand buildings in London to the small cottages out n the country with their thatched roofs, I find them all interesting and beautiful.

If you haven’t been to London, you should go, the first chance you get.

My novel, “The Adventures of the Smith Family is an 18th century English novel and some of it takes place in London and on the Themes. I think it gives a good picture of the city and life there at the time.

Thanks for your time and don’t forget to look at my travel blog for some short stories and photos.

Oh, that reminds me, I am going to put up a short story of mine here from “Sunrise Sunset,” tonight.
