More of Chapter Sixteen
“Oh Chad, this is wonderful. I was getting a little frustrated with all of the planing needed and on such short notice.”
“Don’t worry Suzan, my mom is an expert at these things.” The phone rang after nineteen minutes. “Call it done son. Steak or chicken for five hundred in thirty days at the Higgin’s Estate. Ample parking on the grass and only thirty miles outside the city. Put Suzan on the phone so we can decide on what the invitations should look like. I wish we had more time, but this will be a wonderful affair, I promise.”
“Here Suzan, my mother wants to get your ideas on the invitations you want.”
Chapter Seventeen
Everything came together on the appointed day as promised. The weather was perfect and nearly everyone who said they would attend, did.
Few people noticed the second flying drone flying overhead. One was from the company taking the photographs of the wedding but one was from an unknown government agency.
Chad, his family and friend from the pharmaceutical family had no idea they were under suspicion of continuing their illegal activities. Suzan had no idea about any pending legal issues.
The priest came from the right side of the alter. He was waiting behind a large, brightly flowered hedge.
The grand mansion sat off in the distance. It’s long gravel drive reached the front of the entrance of the home with four pillars standing guard at the front.
It was a quarter of a mile drive from the narrow, winding road through the forests of “up state” New York and up the curving drive that brought everyone to this fabled place.
There had been many stories written about the history of the building, who built it and who had lived in it. Two U.S. Senators had called this splendid structure their home, in the distant past.
A large pool and three tennis courts sat in the rear, out of the line of sight. The huge garage that could hold six cars sat off to the right side in the rear behind a row of trees.
Three chimneys could be seen protruding from the nearly flat, slate roof. The quarters for the staff were on the right side behind the kitchen and pantry. The large dinninig room was at the front of the house on the right as well.

Who owns that second drone?
Is it the IRS? Anything is possible with these wealthy folks, no doubt.
What chicanery have they been up to?
