After Chad’s conversation with his father, he opened a bank account in Kigali and wired $400,000.00 into that account.
He wasn’t sure that he would be coming back to the U.S. That depended on what was happening with the investigation at the time he was to return.
He needed to create options and quickly. He had been down to Africa before on business trips and knew how easy it would be to disappear out into the wilderness all around him.
Chad had connections in Rwanda due to his father’s business dealings there. He often bought gold and mining stocks for his father’s company.
After his father finally told him about the letter from the Securities and Exchange Commission he had received about the angry customer, and the follow up investigation, Chad knew what he had to do.
He now understood what he had helped his father do all those years down in the basement.
He didn’t know the whole scheme or how or what his father had actually done. He had had an inkling years ago but benefitted from those activities and so decided not to question his father’s activities. Chad had millions of dollars from them.
Chad had no idea what exactly his father had done or how he had done it.
All Chad had done was enter what seemed like typical amounts of money into standard accounts. Chad didn’t know that he and all the members of his family were owners of those accounts. Part of him was impressed and part of him was now filled with terror.
Chad had told Suzan nothing about any of this.

Sometimes things aren’t exactly as they seem.
There are new videos on my Facebook pages at R.C. Hand and Cowboyproductions52 of me on the Detective Writer Pod Cast.
I am now also posting photos of my trip to Cuba years ago. With all this talk of Socialist candidates I thought it would be interesting to see what Socialism does to a nation.
