This is me with a new friend.
Our tours with O.A.T. include trips to the schools in the areas where we travel and some of what we pay to travel goes toward helping these schools.
Interestingly most of these young folks seem happy to be in school.
What the future holds for them is anyone’s guess.
We have seen most every animal except the leopard at this point.
We saw one-hundred and thirty two elephants coming to a watering hole to drink.
We sat in our land rover within ten feet of Charles the Lion’s nephew surveying his domain.
We are invisible to the animals as long as we stay seated, or so we are told. I hope it’s true.
So far, so good.
We have reached a real hotel in Livingston today with air conditioning and electrical outlets. We are now learning to appreciate the little comforts that we take for granted so much at home.

Don’t miss my stories and photos of our most recent trip to Jordan and Egypt on Facebook and Instagram at R.C. Hand.
“Sunrise, Sunset” my book of ten short stories is available now on Audible along with “Atlanta” one of my wild detective novels and “Kazu, son of Osheda Kamasaki, my Asian historical fiction novel.
There are now several videos of my guest appearances on podcasts from around the world on Facebook at R.C. Hand and on this website.
“The House On The Cliff,” my fun ghost story and “The Bad Seed,” a different type of detective novel are new on Amazon now.
Come and have some fun.
