Dec.23 – Day 7 -We went to a very nice home tonight to eat and visit a local family.

There was a young mother and father and a boy, age 13 and two daughters, 13 and 6. They were all very open and friendly.

The couple’s marriage was arranged and she stays at home to take care of the children. He is a professional and works with computers I think. He is very involved in some important social matters and was very charming.

They live in a very nice three story home. They have an outside kitchen on the second story for cooking in the summer. There was also a large patio for entertaining or playing ping pong.

We talked about everything under the Sun and learned a lot about each other’s lives. The children were lovely and well behaved.

Yes, it is possible to raise pleasant children if you make the effort. Look up the word “raise” in the dictionary if you don’t know what it means.
