A big thank you – Sept. 2019

I want to thank all of you folks that I met in the later part of last year and this year on my travels to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and the Five Stans on the Silk Road.

It’s nice to see that you are still coming back for more of my silly stories.

We had a great time in all of your wonderful countries and hope to see you all again.

We are always pleasantly surprised by your kindness and help when we most need it.

We always travel in tour groups so we can learn as much as possible about your country, its people and it’s history, so we are on a tight schedule.

If we seem to be in a hurry sometimes, it is because we are. We want to see as much as possible of your homeland.

This cruise to Iceland the Shetland Islands and Greenland will give me a chance to see another part of our beautiful world and to make some new friends.

I will also be doing some writing and research for a more serious spy novel coming in the future. Have you read much on the CIA?

These people do some very interesting and important work for our country. We do appreciate their work even if sometimes the media and others don’t. It is important however, to follow the laws of our country to the letter and with our best interests in mind.

Those interests can be conflicting, but I think common sense and a sense of duty to America will usually put our leaders on the right path.

Sometimes we do need to double check what they have been up to, however. To not do that may lead to the kind trouble that we now find ourselves in at the moment.

A free and independent press is one of the things that keep us from tyranny.

We must all do what we can to get that back again and keep it. You can always vote and vote with your pocket book when it comes to newspapers and other print media.
