October – Back at work

I am back busy writing every day.

I wrote a short story on my cruise and am working on filling it out with more detail and interesting characters.

It is about an old house filled with lost art treasures.

It takes place in the 1920’s in California and involves four brothers on the east coast who inherit a mansion on the west coast from their rich, industrialist father.

I think it is quite clever and fun if I do say so myself. It will be awhile before it is finished, but sadly I have no deadlines or bosses to bow down to, yet.

I look forward to the time when my writing will be known. To that end I have been handing out copies of my different books to strangers who I call “new friends.” Perhaps word will spread.

“Be careful what you wish for, it may come true,” or so say the Talking Heads musical group.

Take a chance on one of my books and see what is going on in my head. That alone is worth something and might be interesting to see, I think.

Sunrise, sunset is a book of short stories.
