I hope you all had a relaxing and safe Thanksgiving.

There are some first chapters up now on my site for you to read from a few of my novels. Perhaps they will wet your appetite.

I am thinking of a new book to write.

I have been doing some research on the CIA and think I might try to write a serious book on the subject.

“Prequel to Rome,” is that book.

It will start with Ernie’s father joining the “company.”

It will lead us up to the time of Grandpa Ernies Secrets. I have an idea of how the first chapter will start, and little more.

No big deal. Something will come to me as I go on this journey.

I am going to be more careful about keeping track of the characters and their names as they start talking to me, this time.

I hate having to go back and read my draft to find their names. It just takes forever, sometimes.

Ernie is my age and that will determine the age of his father and what world events he will be involved in.

He will be the right age for WWII and all that follows. He will be too old to still be active in the eighties, though Ernie does keep pretty busy for his age.

This book will also include Ernie when he was less thought full and shall we say more “active.”

I think the two of them might have some adventures together, as my father and I had when we worked together.
