Aug. 11, 2020 – The Golden Pavilion – Japan

I want to thank all of my Japanese friends who are now coming to my site.

Here is another wonderful photo by my wife of the spectacular Golden Pavilion in Nara.

This was the retirement villa of the Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu.

According to his wishes it became a Zen temple of the Rinzai Sect after his death in 1408.

The top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf.

If you are interested in Asian history, read my novel, Kazu, son of Osheda Kamasaki. It is an Asian folk tale written by me, R.C. Hand.

By the way, I would like to contact any Japanese podcasters who talk about novels from around the world. I would love to do an interview with you about my novels.
