Kazu, son of Oshida Kamasaki” is a very intriguing novel about Karma, love, war and unintended consequences. I think it is a good way to spend a few hours of your time learning about a life from the distant past. There are some important lessons to be learned listening to this story.

“Sunrise, Sunset,” is my book of some short stories of mine. Some of them are thought provoking while others are just fun. What more could one want from one book.

I have may more short stories in my vault.

“The Bad Seed” is all but done. Though I am rereading it make it more interesting.

The hard part about this process is to know when a story is actually done.

We leave Wednesday for Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania for a month. I do a diary entry everyday and will post that when we come home. If all goes well, I will put up some photos and stories about our trip when we return.

We often do internal flights and so the possibility for unforeseen events is always near at hand. The adventure is always worth the risks, especially at my age.

I just watched a very disturbing documentary called “Running for your life” on Netflix. It is a very sad commentary on the Olympics. As usual, what you see isn’t always the entire story. Sadly the world is full of corruption. What a surprise.
