We got early again this morning to find a lounge before they were all taken.
I have finished my Jack Reacher novel and started another that I found here. The lending library is in the laundry room, by the way.
This novel seems more involved and interesting. The Reacher book may be more for men, perhaps. Lots of action and enough intrigue to keep one interested. This new novel is multi-layered and fascinating.
We drove out to Leona’s Kitchen and Pie shop for lunch today. They are very busy but the service was excellent. You stand in line to place your order and then it is brought to your table if you’re not taking it away. I had the veggie sandwich which turned out to be a great choice.
My companions went for the patty melt and cheese burgers. The food was great and now and then a chicken walked by cleaning the floor. What a clever idea. We should do that back home in Southern California.
We then drove south to Wailuku and took a stroll through the shopping center while waiting to see the comedy show at Da’ Playground. There is a small craft harbor behind the main building as well as fine view. There is a small Aquarium there as well.
We saw James Mane. He is a Samoan comedian who was very good with some interesting stories and ideas about the world around us.
