We are off to Jordan and Egypt for a vacation from our hard life of retirement. The recent events in the area will surely make for an interesting adventure.

This is our third attempt to see Jordan, the pyramids and Egypt, as well as the people of those two veru different countries. We start in Jordan and will learn a great deal about these two countries.

My novel, “Sailing Away” is full of many adventures in Africa. One takes place in Morocco where we spent a good deal of time. I have traveled to most of the places in my books and use those travel adventures to create my stories.

This journey is going to be an interesting one with new sights, sounds and smells. We will meet a new group of travelers who wanted to take the same adventure at the same time as us. It is always interesting to meet new people with similar and different ideas.

I have finished two new novels and am ready to start another. I have a few pages of ideas at the moment. It is a murder mystery taking place in the early years of the 20th century and is set in San Francisco. Perhaps the earthquake will be a part of it.

I have twelve chapters completed on a book about WW ll and the CIA. It is a prequel to “Grandpa Ernie’s Secrets,” my fast paced spy thriller.

“The House on the Cliff” will be up on Amazon in a few weeks. It has been done for sometime. It is a fun story about a small town, a large mansion built by an east coast magnate and the family that watched over it for many years. I think it is a fun and interesting story.

Is the house haunted? I’m not going to tell you.

Life is full or risks and unknowns. The unknowns will still come your way even if you don’t take risks. There is no way around that.

Be prepared for the risks as best as you can and face those challenges with conviction and bravery. Fear is only the bodies way of preparing you. Embrace the fear and march forward, like so many have before you.
