Last year we spent Christmas and New Year in India.

This year we are at home.

I want to wish all of you out there a Happy New Year. Be safe and make a new friend.

I am reading and doing my research for “Prelude to Rome.” It is going as well as expected.

I am learning a lot, as usual.

There was so little time in school to learn about all of the history of our interesting planet. I am enjoying the reading and writing that I am doing.

I do not drink alcohol and have no plans of getting into trouble. Trouble does find us sometimes even when we are behaving properly, however. That has been my experience anyway.

I have been very lucky in every way possible and wish the same for all of you out there.

A lot of hard work and planning helped also.
